We won’t go

—>Kanal Stays.<—
Call out for gathering
WHEN: 13.06.2016, 1pm
WHERE: “Senat Verwaltung für Stadtsentwicklung”, Fehrbelliner Platz 2

Kanal is a queer wagon place with a majority of refugees, migrants, Black people, Rrom_nja and people of colour who are trying together to live self-determined and fighting against any kind of structural and social oppression such as racism, classism, sexism, inter*trans*homo discrimination and state nationalism.

Radical Queer Wagon place Kanal is not only our home, but also a political project that is threatened seriously with eviction since January 2016. Berliner Senat and BIM (Berliner Immobilien Management) want to replace Kanal with a MUF (Modularen Unterkünfte für Flüchtlinge) for refugees, the new word for racist inhumane refugee concentration camps.

State politics use the “refugee welcome” narrative for white washing their racist and arbitrary policies such as using the terms of safe country of origin (sicherer Herkunftsstaat), Dublin III Regulation and refugee contingent (Aufnahmekontingent). All is in favour of profit maximization and privatization through the building of MUF. This MUF will concentrate a mass number of refugees in a state controlled camp where each person has just 8 sqm living space without any privacy for a period of 6-9 months with security control, which means fast tracking and deportation.

Our fight for the continuation of Kanal as a radical queer political space continues as the Berliner Senat and BIM (Berliner Immobilien Management) are proposing a ridiculous construction plan on our ground as above mentioned which means the end of our political space, the Kanal projects and also living spaces – basically eviction.

On Monday, the 13th of June, we should meet with the Berliner Senat, BIM, district Neukölln and the architectural company of the MUF project.
We want to make our position clear that this proposal is unacceptable. While some of the Kanal people will be there inside, we call out all the
people to come in front of “Senatsverwaltung für Stadtentwicklung und Umwelt”, Fehrbelliner Platz 2, at 1pm, to show that we are a lot, that
we are in solidarity and that this is not a private matter, it is about all of us.

—>Kanal Bleibt.<—

WANN: 13.06.2016, 13 Uhr
WO: Senatsverwaltung für Stadtentwicklung, Fehrbelliner Platz 2

Gegen Lager!
Gegen Räumung!
Gegen Abschiebung!
